Can we apply for Amnesty in UAE without Passport and Visa?

Full details of UAE Amnesty have yet to be released but it is confirmed that Residents (expats) living in any part of United Arab Emirates either with or without legal documents can apply for upcoming new amnesty scheme for 2018 which will start August 1 and will end at the end of October 2018.

Who Cannot Apply for Amnesty?

No amnesty for those who entered UAE illegally after August 1.

In simple words, those who have entered  UAE illegally after August 1, 2018 will not be entitled to avail the Amnesty scheme.

They will be subjected to the usual legal procedures related to entry and residence of foreigners in the country.

This was stated by Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, director-general of Foreign and Ports Affairs at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, while touring the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners in Sharjah.

Can Overstay people apply for amnesty?

Thousands of overstay people from all states of UAE whose visas are expired are willing to come forward to change their legal status by applying for amnesty.

As per our research and information those who overstay their visa will be eligible to leave the country without penalties (fine) or a ban on re-entry to UAE, because financial penalties (fines) have been removed by authorities for overstay offenderswho wants to leave UAE voluntarily.

Amnesty for Children?

Yes, Children can apply for UAE Immigration Amnesty said Barney Almazar, head of legal aid at the Philippine consulate and embassy.

Anyone who have police case, criminal or civil case in court will need to clear all their cases, they can only apply for Immigration amnesty when their trial is finished .

“The parents must face any existing criminal case, Police case or civil case and cannot leave UAE unless they pay the fine or serve the judgment and get clearance from the police”.

Its mean People with previous civil cases must face the court if they want to re-enter UAE.”

Can people with absconding cases avail UAE Amnesty 2018?

It is better to pay the withdraw fees to your previous employers to lift absconding case if they agree.

It is not yet final, but 80% sure that people who defaulted on banks loan, payment through credit cards, people with absconding cases can not avail amnesty.
